गुरूः एक महान पथप्रदर्शक
 
 जो आत्मज्ञान का मार्ग दिखाते हैं वे पृथ्वी पर के सच्चे देव हैं। गुरू के सिवाय यह मार्ग कौन दिखा सकता है ?   गुरू को शिष्य की सेवा या सहाय का आवश्यकता नहीं है किन्तु सेवा के द्वारा विकास करने के लिए वे शिष्य को एक मौका देते हैं।

Guru as the Great Guide 
 
 He who teaches the way of Knowledge is a veritable Divinity on earth. Except Guru who could show the way ? The Guru does not require any service or help from the disciple, but he gives a chance to the disciple to evolve by serving him.
